VBG SURGERY THE 6TH GETTING SCARED
Hello everyone.
I am having vbg on Wed ,and I'm getting so scared.
How is the pain level with this surgery ?
I don't think it's the pain so much as , I hope I come out of it ok , I am a single mother of three , I think thats what scares me so much ,leaving them.
Thanks for this board and all the people who care !

Hi Lorrie,
It is so normal to be afraid, but try to focus on the positive to keep your fears at bay. Think of all the wonderful things that await you, like more energy to play with your kids, fitting into any chair or booth, crossing your legs effortlessly and a whole new smaller wardrobe, etc
For me the pain was fairly minimal, but I have been told I have a high tolerance for pain. I know the doctors and nurses will do all they can to help manage your pain, so don't be too worried about that part. Just focus on having an uneventful speedy recovery!
I will say a prayer for you! Congradulations on beginning a journey toward health and well-being. You deserve it!
Big Hugs,
Sara

Wow, you are beginning your journey. If you are like me, you will be inviting that thin woman out of the fat lady's costume. Sure-being nervous is normal, but if you can deal with the pain of child bearing this will be a breeze, and like that you get a prize after it is over-a soon to be new body. I will keep you in my prayers-Have a great Re-Birthday-
