JUST A QUICK QUESTION..IS IT COMMON TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE OUT OF BREATH? WHEN I WALK I FEEL LIKE I AM CONSTANTLY OUT OF BREATH..AND NOW EVEN WHEN I TALK EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING THAT I SOUND LIKE I AM OUT OF BREATH???? I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE SURGERY........

I know for the first few days after surgery that I would get out of breath when I would talk. Each day I would get better and better and eventually was able to carry on a conversation without being exhausted afterwards. I didn't have any breathing problems before surgery. I hope this helps. HI KAREN!!! I HAD TROUBLE WITH CATCHING MY BREATH FOR THE FIRST WEEK I WAS HOME. NOW THREE WEEKS POST-OP I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS. YOU WILL BE FINE, WELCOME TO THE LOSING SIDE!!! KELLY
