hoping some vbg's are still out there...
I had a VBG done in 1993. I still have had my good days and my bad days. I have had probably $7,000 in dental work done, because the acid from vomiting over the years have eroded the enamel from between the teeth at the gum line. My teeth are very weak now.
Food changes vary widely from person to person. Some can eat Eggs, hamburger, oranges, etc. I can't. You have to determine what is more important. Food or drink. If you think you will be thirsty in 15-20 minutes, you probably don't want to eat because you will still be full. Dehydration was a major issue for me living in the desert of Ca. (We've since moved).
You don't want to eat something that will cause a plug and fill up your pouch with slime while you ache in misery waiting to see which way your stomach will make it go away.
Determination is key! Though I would say that the norm I've read is about a 70 pound loss. Thst is about where I leveled out.
Good Luck in your choices!
