Topic: APPROVED FOR BPD/DS
I was approved in 2 days for revision to BPD/DS by AETNA. I just sent in recent endoscopy note that showed dilated pouch jejunostomy and letter from my PCP. I am so happy. Have a call out to Dr Sudan at Duke to get my first appt and we will go from there

Hey!  Have you been to the Inova support group yet?   I am getting RNY with Dr Moazzez in September.  I've never been a joiner at anything and this is one of the things I want to change.  I feel it would be very good for me to join a support group and this is the only one I know about.

I think it's on tonight and I wanted to go but between the thunderstorm warning that has cancelled my son's scout meeting, plus the vicodin I 'm taking for a double ear infection, I think I better skip this one.

Fairly new to this area.  (We moved to Gainesville last year from Virginia Beach)  So if you can give some advice on the support groups that you have been to, that would be great.

I have to agree, Dr. Kreiger is the best! I already had the breastlift and brachioplasty ( arm lift). Most likely having tummy tuck in Dec and Dr. Kreiger will be performing the surgery.

Welcome...

I have only met Dr Spencer one time  (since he is in Portsmouth/Suffolk).  But, I also use Bon Secours (Norfolk).  I have met many of his patients through my support group and they all rave about him.  The Bon Secours program is great will all aspects of the surgery from pre-op and insurance approval to post-op care.

Good luck on getting your insurance approval.  I also didnt have the requird physician led weight mgmt program.  However, once that was completed, my approval went quickly.

Ok, I know it says NC but I spend most of my day in Virginia   I work in Norfolk.

I am starting out this new journey....

I go to my first WLS seminar with Bon Secours' program with Dr. Spencer...

Looking to see what people have to say about him and his practice....  :)

I go to the seminar on the 16th.... I'm anxious but I'm unsure I'll get approval right away since I do not have the minumum requirement of the physician led weight management.... Still being treated for my feet (had surgery in June) and for my back and thats been going on for more than a yr.  Working out isn't or hasn't been an option lately.  Going shopping makes my feet scream within 15-20mins of walking...

just ready to get this officially started and moving :)

Check out my profile to find a little about mui..and dont hesitate to contact me! I'd love to meet people locally!
