Ex came over to visit with kids today. Grudgingly gave me gas money and money to buy Sylvia's birthday presents. I so totally need to file custody/child support papers!
Carpal tunnel acting up as I'm doing a needlepoint for Sylvia's birthday. Guess I'll be wearing my brace tonight ;)
Not sure what dinner will be tonight. Maybe I'll just do a shake. Was thinking of doing 5day pouch diet. Have everything I need. I've been eating WAY too many carbs! =P

We are a returnee to VA also. We have lived in Herndon, Reston and Fairfax. I so much enjoy Culpeper more. Just far enough away and yet close enough if I need to head up that way. Having friends and family up there also helps. If you head down this way, let me know.

Hi all,
Oh I am so proud of myself. I finally got a lot done in my schooling. I am now in PowerPoint and I enjoy it. So hopefully, today will go much the same way. Hubby is home today so it may not but we shall see.

Yes I went through that for about a week, no fun. I increased my intake of fruit and veggies which seemed to help.

Hi! =)
Today I took my daughter to speech therapy (every Tues/Thurs). Weather was nice and we were invited to go to the river (Shenandoah) but I've been a little constipated and feely crummy, so I passed. If the weather is nice tomorrow, we may go down though =)

I actually grew up here, moved to VA from NY in '83. But I've been in California and Oregon for the past 15 years. Came home to be with family =)
I live with my sister and BIL here in FroRo. I grew up in Sterling and Manassas. My younger sister lives in Culpeper with her family, so I'm familiar with that area, as well.
And I noticed the lack of people posting ;)

Hi all,
How are you this nice rainy day. I wasn't expecting this rain so it is pleasant and I know our flowers love it!
Well, last night, I got all my leftover school books out of hiding so hopefully, this will be a successful study day. My free time is quickly coming to an end so I need to buckle down and get this done.
My friend from Fairfax comes on Friday and I am so excited! It's been a long time since we have gotten together.
We have a new member on here so I hope you all welcome her. Have a great day!

Welcome to VA! I think you will find a lot of charm in VA. I live in Culpeper which is central VA, right in the middle of horse and wine country. I used to live up in the northern VA area so I am quite familiar with it. This board tends to be very quiet. I try to do a daily roll call to get people to chat but most of the time, they don't. Maybe with you on here they will pirk up? :o)
