hi girls

sorry i missed yesterdays check in but it was a 12 hour shift for me and i went to bed not long after getting home.

yesterday day felt like a fat day for me although i ate really well, just felt sluggish and frumpy but got all my water in and did well with eating.

today was a better day.

vitamins in first thing
24oz Health Nut Smoothie made with Splenda from Tropical Smoothie
6" Subway Sub made on Wheat, Turkey with Provolone Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato
Trail Mix Bar

ive had 128 oz of water today, havent been hungry all day and no cravings! 

have a good night, will check in tomorrow

Fine,Thanks for asking. Finally got my nerne up to start posting again,hope the drama queens don't get me! I usually keep up with whats going on though. It's great you've hung in there to keep things moving along. The board needs someone like you to keep it steady and calm. I finally reached my goal of 155lbs and am maintaining although it is a constant battle. I would like to update my archives but can't figure out how.Best of luck with your sleep issues, it's a bummer!Take meds myself for the problem. Pam

Morning Beth!  Missed you yesterday!  My evening went well.  Got home & worked on homework with the "son", fixed dinner & worked on dishes for dinner tonight, it is my hubby's bday and I wanted to make some of his favorites to go with the bbq chickens he ordered.  Got to bed a bit late due to watching Idol.  So far today looks to be a good day.  Will have the girlies, son, the boyfriend & a friend over tonight to celebrate the bday.  Have to go get the cake, presents, food, etc.

B - whole grain crackers & banana
S - none
L - chipotle, burrito bowl
S - hamburger pattie with cheese
D - spaghetti

Good morning everyone

Hope everyones evening went well.. and today is a better day that yesterday.   not much planned today... gym and going to the store for a few things.. other than that i hope its a stress free day...

with working out yesterday  i was under calories by 800 ... which is great.. i give myself 1,100 a day... and when i work out that number goes up.. but my food intake doesnt.,.. i lost a pound..

todays plans are

coffee and vitamins in
B  i had oatmeal  100 calories 4g of protein
S will be my protein drink... ( i cant wait to go to that store in woodbridge i need bars these drinks are getting old lol )      130calories  26grams of protein
L   salad  with chicken or tuna...
S protein drink
D   sloppy joes with lean hamburger meat   and corn on the side...      buns are 100 calories  sauce is 40calories per serving..  

dessert... cant forget this..... my sugar free ice cream bar.... 

have a great day           i need to start getting my water in today...

Hi Courtney, My husband always has sleep issues if he eats anything with ANY sugar in it before bedtime, maybe this is something you may want to look into. He has crazy dreams, tosses and turns, and wakes up numerous times during the night. We finally had to cut out all sugars and white flours  at least 5 hours before bedtime  to keep him straight. Maybe our new doctor friend can give some insight on what causes this. Good luck,Pam

Dr Moazzez and Dr Halmi have done the Vertical Sleeve Gasterectomy.    I have been very blessed with no issues.   All these surgeries do have their issues and should be researched and discuss with you doctor (s) .  

Dr Mo wanted me to have the RNY which I found too many friends with issues.  I was looking into the band when I found out about the Sleeve.   I am glad I did it and at Fair Oaks Hospital.

thats awesome... this daily checking in here sure does seem to help me.. keeps me on track like its suppose too.. i also add everything i consume to a application on my phone..  i cant wait till im 20 or so pounds away from my goal... wont be long.. we are doing it...  ive been steadily at 190 to 200 for acouple years as ive mentioned before..  but since the light bulb came on over my head.. and i decided to make this work...  its working. i see Dr Halmi next monday for my check up and im looking forward to him seeing the pounds coming off.. i saw him less than a year ago and he noticed i was the same as 2 yrs prior to that.. so its a good feeling to be losing the weight.    ive lost 20 pounds in 4 weeks... down to 186...   loving this..  im looking forward to buying new clothes once i hit my goal of 154...  : ))

B Small 100 calorie bagel with low fat cream cheese.. 30 calories
S  protein drink 130 calories 26 grams of protein
L salad cucumbers and 3 to 4 oz of grilled turkey.. 21 grams of protein    lunch was 150 calories
S  just ate a medium apple
D will be skinless chicken breasts with cream of chicken and brown rice and peas.. i cant eat the rice but i will the chicken and peas..

my dessert is a sugar free ice cream bar.... 100 calories.... yummy...

been to the gym this morning.. going back at 4;30 while kids are in martial arts... have a great evening....
