Morning all! How are you today? Doing well here. It is my work from home day, I had hoped to sleep in some but that didn't happen since the hubby & oldest decided to get into a hollering match at 6:30 a.m. So I went ahead & got up, started working & the plus is I will be finished sooner. Sounds like an afternoon nap for me. Had a great weekend. Lots of great family time including 2 of my nieces. Great weather helped make it all that much better. Today is kind of dreary with some rain so I doubt I will do much. Got lots of inside chores to do so I am good. My friend is coming over to stay the night so we can commute together for a meeting in another office tomorrow.
Today's food Plan:
cuppas in
B - chicken salad sandwich
S - protein drink
L - left overs
S - banana
D - not sure
Have a great day!!!!

I agree with Ms. Court's note.
Many undergoing weight loss surgery have latent sleep apnea, whether or not they knew of symptoms beforehand, and this can come out after surgery due to anesthetic drugs, post-op pain drugs, etc.
First response should be to prop your head & shoulders up, as suggested; many sleep in recliner chair for first week or so.
Also use your spirometer regularly to keep your lungs expanded (you should have had one in the hospital and been given it to take home to work on your breathing).
Definitely call your surgeon & let him know of your difficulties. He knows your medical history and the nuances of your operation and is the right person to help you.
