Good Morning!  How are you today?  Doing well here and down 2 lbs.  Enjoyed a quiet evening with my "son" last night.  Hubby went to the soccer game with the oldest at her school, "son" and I worked on homework.  Played outside with the dog for a bit in the rain, didn't get in my bike ride or walk as it started to really rain.  Not too much planned for today.  Work of course and then home for a night with the kids.

Yesterday's results

54 oz of fluids

Morning all!  Yesterday was crazy as I kept playing catch up at work, then had a lazy afternoon with a few chores thrown in.  Dinner with the hubby & son, then a quiet nigh****ching baseball.  The rain really threw off our exercise.  Sunday night we did a nice walk/bike ride though, I got in about 2 miles.

Today's food plan
cuppas in
out of protein
B - granola bar, cheese stick, banana
S - none
L - chipotle
S - not sure
D - chicken

Dr. Fontana did my surgery with Dr. W.  All wonderful Surgeons here.... Front desk staff is amazing.... Great staff all around, from Nutrition to Nurses and office staff...

I interviewed more than 5 practices before I decided on my surgery.  I interviewed about 12 Surgeons, and I got the best...

Hello, Brandy, and welcome.
I don't know what employers exist in the part of SW Virginia where you've moved, but here in Richmond, some of the employers that have purchased the WLS "rider" for their employees' health care plan include:
* State of Virginia [Anthem; but.... State of VA "Covacare" now requires 12 month diet before they'll authorize surgery.  Boo!]
*NONE of the local county governments (boo); ie Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield - school teachers, firemen, police etc.  YOUR county government may; worth a check
*Federal government employees have rider: either Tricare (military) or Federal Blue Cross (civilian)
*Philip Morris
*Verizon
*Most Hospital systems offer the rider: HCA, Bon Secours, ?Carillon
*Banks: CapitalOne, Bank of America, Wachovia
*Kroger
*Alcoa
*Honeywell
*IBM
*JP Morgan
*Aramark
*Georgia Pacific
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi, I am a military spouse in Virginia.  Are you in Kentucky?  This is a VSG forum for VA.  If you are in VA or you will be in VA.  I can give you the contact info for the military bariatric program.  It is self-contained, they take care of everything.  Let me know if you need the info. for VA.
