Beth I agree with the Ladies Take a deep breath and slow down. Listen to your doctors and follow up . Make sure all your doctors get you test results. Since you are pregnant I always give everyone a copy. Did I understand right you are now pregnant? If so make sure primary is talking to the OBGYN.

Welcome, Jackie. At the Nut appt she will go over with you what you can expect from your after surgery to your new lifelong food changes that you will be making. The psyc eval basicly wants to determine that you are educated in your decision, a non-drinker, can follow the life-long quidelines of a bypass surgery patient(take your vitamins, eat approproate foods, ect.) and are dedicated to the weightloss. It's tough to change the food obsession. A few people unfortunately replace their obsesssion with bad habits, others with good hobbies. You will feel more like exercising as you start to loose weight and it helps to focus on good healhy foods rather than fatty, high calorie foods. As far as being out of work goes, I've seen people on here talk about going to work after a week.My personal experience was such that I would not have been able to work comfortably for 5 weeks. So it all depends on complicatons and plain just how you feel. I hope your experience is a joyous one and the best advice I can give you is LEARN,LEARN,LEARN! The more you know about what you are about to experience will give you much more confidence and success in your weight loss journey.

He did my extended TT in January and will be having him do my arm lift in August. He is the greatest and a master. Very nice and gets where WLS are and have been. His staff is also excellent. I had seen 2 other PS and went with the best by far. Quite a few people on this website have used him and were thrilled with the results.
