Topic: HELLO?? We Must be having a Great SUmmer!
Wow, I've never seen it this quiet on the ole Virginni board.
Hope folks are just doing good and just having the time of there lives as succeeding/successful post op WLS skinny/skinner people enjoying their new lease on a more active life.
I have restarted my jogging program to get back to doing some events for official times for personal record. I don't expect to win any but it was good motivation to keep training and trying to improve my first two post-ops years.
My latest venture of HS football and basketball officiating I thought was activity enough but found myself actually gaining weight and losing my endurance I had bulti up from jogging. I have gone back to a variation of the liver-shrinking pre-op diet to jumpstart my proper eating habits and discipline and gotten out to jog Thurs and Fri of last week and Mon - Wed of this week.
No big vacations or major events for me so far this summer other than helping our swim club build an 8 ft octogon Isreali Gaga Dodge ball pit with concrete floor and treated lumber 3 ft retaining wall. Yep,...that whatI said too,...a gaga whhhhaaat??? But the kids love it and play it constantly. Its certainly not a video game.
I almost choose to attend an LDS missionary 30th yr reunion in Farmington Utah but couldn't see my way clear to spend the money or take the time off from work and football officiating scrimmages to go out there. It would have been fun but such is life.
Party on folks!

I go tthe same deal with the PVC and bradycardia,...go figure!! I guess our heart is so happy we are lighter now it wants to not work as hard either,...or something. Good job on the weight-loss and the spinning classes and stuff.
Its been pretty quiet on the ole VA Board latetly, but the Exercise and Fitness Board is rocking if you wanna take a peak over there too.
This summer's a scorcher. If we don't all melt, i'm hoping there are lotsa great summertime expericnces being had by all and we hear about them soon.

hello everyone.. i hope all is going well and your enjoying your summer. Ive been busy with my kids taking them here and there.. mostly to the pool. but Ive been going to the gym daily.. and i pulled out some old pictures before my gastric bypass and wow.. i look sooo different,.. i have a chin and a neck now.. i will have to take new pictures and post them. we are going on a cruise next month so there will be alot of picture taking.. ive got myself down to 173.. by end of august id like to be mid 60s. spin classes really help take this weight off.. i go 2 to 3 times a week. and gym 5 to 6 days a week. tomorrow i go for my echocardiogram, go figure.. i loose the weight.. work out like a crazy lady.. eat healthy... never smoked and rarely drink.. and i develope bradycardia... slow Heart rate.. but im sure it will be fine... next monday i have to go for a holter monitor and wear it home for 24 hours. its a 24 hour ekg. but i just wanted to check in.. and see how everyone is doing.. i know the daily check ins have kinda disappeared.. but id love to start em up.. if it helps anyone.. cuz i know it helps me. have a great evening..

I live in Norfolk which is close to Virginia Beach and I lived in Va Beach for 10 years. There is a Hampton Roads Weight Loss Group that meets in the area. I haven't been able yet to attend but they often go to a nice resturant for their meetings. I haven't had my WLS yet, in insurance approval stage, but am always looking for extra support on my big day!
Topic: RE: Anyone Remember the Bra Ladies?
I wasn't at the conf but I googled Colesce bras in va and came up with several hits. Hope that helps.
Topic: RE: Dr. Elariny Pre Op Tests?
Oh I hope that's what they will do!! I was looking on the Internet at how a colonoscopy is done and it just said that they give you something to calm you. :(
