I do feel blessed to have him after hearing all the good things about him. I met with him once and he was very nice and patient with me. Answer all my questions.  I have yet to met anyone there that was was not nice or smiling. Even on the phone they are as nice and helpful as can be. So I have been put at ease.
 I am a member of the Y in KG. I use to go quite a bit but I got a promotion at work and my hours changed so I don't go as much as I would like. I will be trying a little harder to get there after work even though I may be tired because I need to start working on my execerise and getting myself use to doing it.. lol  I guess I just need to get in a routine.
 I can't wait to be on the losers bench and starting my new life. :) Are there any Support Groups Closer to KG that you know of?

I live in the south Stafford area and teach out at the KG YMCA at the pool. I have been a patient of Blue Point since January 2007. Dr. Halmi is an excellent Doctor and very personable. You're in excellent hands.

Trahan told me at my first meeting with him that he doesn't do any revisions. My husband works with a woman that had a revision at UVA(where her original was done). Things went went well for her. Was your original done with Trahan? Why do you think the bypass didn't work for you? Good luck.

I also have Southern Health/Coventry thats what insurance is offered at my work.  I just recenty had back surgery I had to have a spinal fusion it took me like 4 appeals just to get them to pay for that.  I really want to have a revision or something like the band over bypass.  I had gastric bypass back on 1998 and needless to say didn't work.  I e-mailed Dr. Trahan office and got an e-mail saying someone would contact me and as of today have not heard a thinkg that was the end of July.  Keep us posted. 

I live between Fredericksburg and Richmond Virginia and wonder if anyone has had any experiences with orthopedic surgeons in this area.  I have been to two, one in Fredericksburg and one in Richmond and am not sure about either of them.  I need knee replacements on both sides, am in end stage arthritis and am bone on bone at this point.  Needless to say I am in quite a bit of pain daily and am living on Tramadol and sometimes Davocet.  Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated!
