question for those who had surgery in Charlottesville

Quick question--my husband has been approved for surgery and has his pre-admission testing in June which is when he should get his date. How long from that appointment did most of you get your surgery?? Just trying to do a little time line planning. Thanks in advance for your help! Brandi

Hello Brandi: It all depends on where he is going for the DOC, as to what happens. At mine (Dr Hutcher) It was less than 2 weeks after pre op tests to my surgery. Good luck. Stephanie 421/394/? I am a Loser, Baby!

It all depends on your insurance. Mine was 6 weeks from consult to surgery. Shannon

Hi, Brandi! I had surgery in Charlottesville last year. Because of my insurance, it took over a year from my first appointment until I got approval. However, once I got m approval, it went quickly. I think it was 2-3 weeks between my pre-op appt. and my surgery. Good luck! Please email me if I can be of any help! JoAnn
