PS Letter

I have been speaking with Dr. Halmi about doing the tummy PS procedure that he does. I am currently in the gathering information stage, taking pictures of the ol' belly (ew!) and collecting the documentation from my PCP. They also suggested that I write a letter describing my issues and the problems that the extra skin has caused, etc. I was wondering if anyone had written a letter like this before and had any tips. I know that it is rare that this type of thing gets approved by the insurance company anyway, but I want to give it my best shot! I know that there are several folks out there that have had PS and know that you will be able to help me out. Thanks in advance!!

First and formost. Tell them the truth . Let them know how the extra skin affects your life . Leilani was kind enough to show me the below links . I was denied last week but have hopes to appeal .
