Well wish me luck
Good luck Rick! Soon you'll be a bionic man (prepare yourself for all kinds of jokes along that vein).
I have friends who have had one or both knees replaced. Although it was a hard recovery, they all agree that it was the best thing they ever did for themselves (sort of like we are with the WLS). Just follow the doc's PT instructions and take those pain meds. You'll be dancing again in no time!
Prayers coming your way,
Carole
best of luck to you! As a matter of fact my Grandfather is currently recovering from his second knee replacement on one knee. He is on his 2.5 week mark and doing very well. Whatever you do make sure you KEEP MOVING! Get that knee in motion because once you let 'er sit still too long it likes to stick and then you have problems with range of motion! KEEP MOVING and get into motion ASAP! Speedy Recovery to you! Prayers going up!
Hugs!

Good luck with your knee replacement. Been there and done that 1 done 5 yrs. ago and the other just a little over a year. If you don't know about a cpm machine ask you dr. about one. I beleive that is what helped me the most and do your therapy. You will do fine and be back in action in know time. God bless.
