Week 1 of WW
Well, it's really been almost 2 weeks. I had the kids home all last week and refused to torture myself with bringing them, so I went today, which is 13 days later. LOL I lost 5.4lbs. Would've been more if I didn't go to the darn movies and eat popcorn, or if I didn't drink like a fish Friday night, but I guess I gotta live too. I'm happy with that, and now I won't be able to go back for at least 2 to 3 more weeks because I'm having my ovary/cyst removal surgery Friday. Maybe I'll lose lots with that??? That'd be really cool. I'll keep you informed. OHHHHH, and Donna, if I kept all my old WW books I'd be laughing right with you. I'm thinking more of a maintenance thing, when I get that far, which has always been my problem. Trust me, I know how you feel about coming and going with WW. LOL XOOXOXOXOXOOXOXO

Excellent, Sharon! Congrats on the loss.
I remember asking the assistant surgeon how much weight I was going to lose when Dr. M took about my gallbladder. He laughed pretty hard. I told him "Oh, c'mon...make it worth my while, okay?" He told me I'd be very unimpressed with it's size and weight.
Good luck with your surgery Friday! I hope that all goes nice and easy for ya!
Hugs, Kathy
p.s. I think I threw my WW card out. Had it for years and years though I just had a thought that it might be in a bag of crap I have. That would be the cards from 1988.
Ok I suppose so long as I don't divulge any private info I am not going against the HIPPA law BUT when I was doing surgical tech I ran into a few cysts that were the size of sports equipment! Some are like SOFTBALLS some are like FOOTBALLS! One other day in the OR I saw a womans kidney be removed ........it was SO STINKING BIG it needed it's own zip code for Pete's sake! I am not joking! When one of the surgeons asked the other surgeon for assistance removing it YES IT TOOK FOUR HANDS that was when I grabbed the tech camera! It was a looker let me tell you. Man alive I am about to soil myself thinking back because I was so amazed I was on top of it poking it and feeling it. Lifting it up and saying HOLY COW!!!!! What is in this?! What on earth made this happen!? The surgical team was in stitches!
Hugs!

You know? It's pretty bad when my ears are burning cause someone's talking about ME (and my ovaries?)
...too funny!
Good luck on Friday - Im so glad they'll be able to go through the previous lap scars and remove it that way. OPEN surgery is so much more intrusive and lengthier on recovery time.
Let us know how you're doing as soon as you can - Hugs - Lei
Btw - that 8 lb cyst weighed ALMOST as much as Keoni, at birth, he was 3 weeks early and weighed in at 9 lbs.
I suspect the cyst woulda been easier and cheaper to RAISE?
OHHHHHHHHHHH, I love those happy pills. Best part of the whole thing. LOL How are you feeling these days girly?? When will you be mobile again? I'm figuring on a week of down time for me. Then a week of just a little up time. LOL I think I'll milk this one for all it's worth. I so taught my 8yr old how to do the laundry this time. Hee Hee!!! Thanx for the well wishes girly!!! OXOXOOXOXOXOXOXO
