Thanks Kerry, It's not easy, but I am trying. I'm trying to be patient, it took me about 22-23 years to get to where I am (I was "normal" as a small kid) so I guess undoing all that in a few years will be well worth it! Hope you get a date yourself, soon, so I can encourage YOU. Julie

Congratulations! I am happy to see that you made it out of surgey and are home and doing well. You are lucky to have such a supportive sista! I will be following your progess, since I am hoping to get a date some time this summer. Take care, and let your body heal. I have not had this surgery, but I have had three c sections and a hysterectomy with in 5 years, so I got the whole you have to let it heal thing down. Protein good!Again, congratulations to you! Well, I hear that having Lap RNY is easier than having a C-Section which makes me a) admire all those who HAVE had kids that way and b) makes me NOT want to have kids! It's painful, but gets better every day! Hope you get a surgery date soon. There are lots of others that know so much more about this process than I do, but whatever help I can offer you, I'll give it. I'm like a WLS kindergartener at this point! Thanks! Julie
