Seems like I am always asking questions. Question #1 - for those who have had open rny how long before your doctor would allow you to exercise on a stationary recumbent bike? I meant to ask when I went last week (at 4 weeks out) and forgot. Question #2 - now this is a strange one! I have a sedentary job, sit at a desk most of the day, I have noticed the last week that my bottom hurts after a few hours! I never had this happen. I even notice it in the car if I am sitting for over an hour. It is very very uncomfortable. I don't think it is possible that I have lost enough padding to make it feel this way? Thanks

Lorraina! Hello! I can't answer Q#1, but I can certainly speak on Q#2! I've noticed the same thing! I think it is possible, as I saw a post on the March 2006 board a week or so ago on the same thing. I know my jeans are looser in my behind then anywhere else. Some of my other areas that are noticeable are the weirdest places too, wrists, face, feet, hands....they're all looking smaller. Hey! It's all good, eh? Kirsten

Lorraina, My butt hurts if I sit too long as well. I also type all day, and my elbows ache from being on the desk. You will loose weight in weird places. I've dropped several shoe sizes and several ring sizes. Most women see a big change in their bra size. Unfortunately for me, "the girls" didn't cooperate. I only dropped a cup size, but I did drop sizes around. I didn't have open, but with my lap, doc said no swimming, no excerises in the tummy area for 4 weeks. He never said no cardio. He said walk as much as I could, no restirctions there. I never asked about riding a bike, I didn't join my gym until later on. Leland
