Support after surgery in Northern Va.

I am going to Mexico for surgery on May 9th. Does anyone know of any support group I can join when I get back? I live in Manassas Va. Thanks, Andrea

First, I am jumping in my wifes sandbox. But she goes to the one at INOVA Fair Oaks. If you email her she can give you the details ( She is CAPPYMOON) on the boards here.

There are two groups at Fair Oaks Hospital. They are usually the first and third Monday of the month those there are some schedule adjustments for holidays and such. There is a less formal support group that is a yahoogroup. We meet in person at Paneras in Fairfax (Fair Oaks) on the 3rd Saturday of the month. It is a really nice group. Wide range of folks from new post-ops/pre-ops to folks a couple of years out. Kathie (Kathie) comes from Manassas to the group. Here is the link to join the yahoogroup...
