Looking 4 Hernia/Tummy Tuck Anthem Surgeon

I have 2 hernias and was approved for the hernia repair but not the tummy tuck. Need a good surgeon in the Fredericksburg-D.C. Maryland area. Also one that will take Anthem insurance. Raven

Hi Raven, I always thought they would do a tummy tuck easier if you had a hernia, but I guess it's not always that way. In fact I was going to try to figure out how to get a hernia so I could have the tummy tuck!! love donna

Anthem of Va does not include any reconstructive PS anymore. I had that and Tricare (thank goodness~I have a chance with Tricare), but Anthem wouldn't pay at all, even with Hernias. Some won't even pay for the gastric anymore....the company I work for elected not to carry it anymore. Good Luck, Stacey
