6 Miles
Didn't get to do any exercising yesterday due to the weather. I was determined to get out today and EARLY in case of more bad weather. I went to the flood wall and walked the entire length, up and back, 6 miles +. Of course the dog raced the entire way. He probably went twice my distance running back and forth.
This is twice as far as I have been walking. Now I am sore in unusual places, but SO HAPPY to have accomplished this with no strain. Didn't get out of breath and did not get a back ache like I used to get with 67 pounds hanging in front of me
. Did drench the back of my t-shirt AND my heavy coat.
Happy Lois

Wow !!! That is awesome Lois .. it does feel good huh .. it only gets better .. I found the more I lost .. the easier it was to complete different exersises and task .
I remember the first day I took off running . I was walking around my apartment complex .. and all of a sudden .. I just took off .. and I have been running ever since ..
Congrats to you sweety... Way to go !!
Hugs,
Natalie
That is so wonderful!!! My husband and I went on a 6 mile trail a few months ago (pre-op), and I thought I was going to die
Having my husband & dogs stand around waiting for me to catch my breath was so embarrassing. I am so happy for you that you decided to get out and get going!!! I haven't made my way up to 6 miles, but hopefully someday soon. I bet your dogs just loved it
