Home...and WOW already!!
Hi all!
So far everything is going GREAT 
Had the surgery on Monday, came home early Wednesday afternoon.
Here's the "OW": The J-P drain tube is driving me nuts, but hopefully will be out on my follow-up appt. on Tuesday. Nothing painful, just annoying! The liquid-only "diet" makes me feel a bit tired and gets boring, but I don't have ANY urge or desire to cheat by adding this or that. I haven't been sick and don't plan to do something to make it happen!!!!!!! I know that "this too shall pass" and before I know it I will be able to have SF pudding, soft cheeses, and other stuff that will be more filling in my pouchy.
And now the "WOW!": I have been walk-walk-walkin' and drink-drink-drinkin', and as of today I have already lost 15 pounds!!! Yesterday, I put on a pair of sweats that wouldn't go over my butt on Sunday, and now they are loose! WOOHOOO!!! That fat-back roll hangin' over my rear end is almost flat now!! I already feel like a million bucks My tummy is gurgling and burbling, but it feels GOOOOOOOD to get that air out. I just pass it off on my kids 
I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers, and most of all your support...I can honestly say that by reading other's experiences and Q/A posts, I felt far-better educated about my surgery and recovery, which totally put me at peace and helped avoid the "ohmygosh, I didn't expect THAT" feelings. ANYONE considering this surgery should research and have support!!!
Special hugs to Virginia Gal for coming to visit me and bringing beautiful flowers and wonderful words of encouragement!!! You really are an 
Betsy, thanks to you for letting everyone know I was safe and sound, and I know if you could have been there you would!! I hope that you have a fantabulous weekend (and you are looking GREAT!!!!!!)

I'm glad to hear that you are doing so well!!! I hope that your follow-up appointment goes well, and you get out that drain tube. I can't wait to see your pics (I've been guilty of not getting mine up yet and it has been over a month now.) and hear about all of your WOW moments.
