Tinkerbell Update .. March Madness

Wow is it March already .. today has been a beautiful day .. got up took my grandsons to their soccer game and just enjoyed being outside .. and was able to wear my sandles.. Well .. wanted to just give you all an update on me ... Tink .. many of you come on line and post your WOW moments .. but for me as many of you know my WOW moments are about done .. except for the times I say WOW .. I am not loosing anymore .. LOL .. A few things just to let you in on .. 1. I am not loosing anymore .. I have been able to keep my weight at @ 125 to 120 .. and know what to do when it creeps down . 2. Still not dating anyone in particular .. just taking life one day at a time .. 3. Planning many things this month .. March .. an awesome friend is having a birthday and I will be traveling to Baltimore next weekend to spend with some fantabulous people .. April brings a trip to the Beach wth my soul sister and her family .. I can not wait for this .. and June is bringing the Summer Conference with David .. ( Stay posted for further details ) 4. I finally got my promotion on my job .. I posted months ago about wanting to leave my job .. and got an offer from another department to manage a sales force .. and my boss .. counter offered .. making me the Director of Inside Sales .. AWESOME !! I am so happy about this .. 5. Ok here is where I may get flamed but you know me .. I let it roll .. I have been reading many post here .. and it seems that a few are leaving the board because of certain people .. for what ever reason .. and this my friends is infuriating me .. If someone pizzes you off .. you need to let it roll .. if you do not care for someone's answer to your post .. or lack of .. let it roll .. ask yourself why you came to OH in the first place .. this is not a place for this type of activity .. it is for support .. encouragement and fun .. . God knows I post on here and I know there are people that do not like my candidness .. Do not Care .. I am strong enough to know how to treat others .. and how to respond .. and if you walk away from the boards you are only letting those that do not get what OH is about .. take this away from you .. So I ask you .. if you are one of those that lurks or has left the board due to someones reply or lack of .. reconsider what you are doing .. this is YOUR PLACE .. EVERYONES PLACE . I thank God everday I found OH .. I would not have found Lei's profile and would not have seen her courage to beat this Freaking Disease Obesity .. so there .. I said it all .. Just know that any contribution you give this board or others is appreciated .. if something does not appeal to you .. just like I said .. LET IT ROLL .. Now in saying that... I am off to enjoy the day .. as it is beautiful here .. and I want you all to know that I love you and respect each and everyone of you .. YOU ROCK .. and YOU are what keeps OH what it is .. Our Home our Family .. TiNk outa here ..

Tink, Tink! I am soooooo glad that you are my MC sister! Congrats on the promotion. I know that you deserve it and more! You are beautiful! I've seen you eat and know that you are not anorexic or anything like that. I've been at 115 for about two weeks and am trying to stay there. As far as not dating anyone in particular....why limit yourself to any one person? Life is full of new people to meet and new adventures to be had. Now that we can enjoy life to its fullest, do so! When you meet the right guy, you'll know it. He'll be one lucky Mother Clucker! Sounds like you have a full month planned. In case you didn't read my earlier post, my surgery got postponed until April 14th due to a gum infection. It stinks, but I guess things happen for a reason. As far as people leaving the boards because of others' responses, I whole-heartedly agree with you! Life is too short to let the BS get to you. OH has literally opened up a new world for me and I am so thankful for it. Hope Amy is doing well! I love you, JoAnn

OMG Joann-ya clucker you .. I date several .. and never limit myself at this point .. having way to much fun .. I just got on the boards today for the first time away from work .. and I just read it .. I am so sorry hun ,,. but I do agree with your surg... it is the best .. any infection can cause major problems . and I need you around .. so there .. And yea .. I eat .. OMG do I eat .. but ya know .. what keeps me grounded is the dancing and the exersise .. I love it .. Well .. until next time .. Hi my sweet MC tinker....I miss you so much. Anyway, congrats on the promotion at work..that is awesome. I am sooooo thankful that Amy is getting better, she is still in my prayers. As far as a man in your life...we are both in the same boat but I know our days comin'....one we both deserve. We deserve the berry bestest. Now about people leaving the board.....what happened to if you can't say something nice, don't say anything. I have been lucky so far, thank goodness but this is a unique family and we are here for support, not put downs. That being said, I love you all and I won't be leaving this board ever. Congratulations on maintaining your loss! I fear that will be as hard as losing. Congratulations on your promotion! I can't imagine being in charge of sales--I couldn't sell water to a man dying of thirst! Amen on your last item. I had determined not to post so much. I rethought that, however, and decided to just avoid those whose posts I don't like and read everything I send out twice to make sure I really want to send it. If anyone else gets under my skin, I close the laptop and refuse to rise to the occasion. I have been much happier this way. I have no control over others but I CAN control how I let them affect me. I let it roll (as you said) OFF my back. Like a duck, QUACK QUACK (since I am not a Cluck sister Went hiking in the National Forest AND motorcycle riding on this beautiful day. OH Lois .. the weather was beautiful yesterday .. and today it is going to be even better ... I would love to ride again .. I was raised on motorcycles and loved it so much .. the last time I rode was with my x husband years ago .. and hiking is something I want to try now too . When I was up in Charlottesville and Haymarket these past couple weekends I took a good look at some of the mountains and said .. ya know it would be nice to scale on of those .. and one day I may do it . Do you go hiking up in the mountains .. or trails .. ??
