Udate on My Daughter

I sit here furious . My daughters condition has not really changed . And I am so mad , they just do not seem to want to do very much to help her . First off . She does not have insurance , She is new on her job and would be eligible in 20 days .. go figure . Her blood results still show severe blood infection , she is still in pain and her kidney still swollen and not filtering . I asked why a specialist was not brought in and they said she did not need one at this point . WHAT !!! I tried to get her moved to another hospital and because she does not have insurance , no one will touch her . So .. what to do ?? She is on 2 muscle relaxers, demoral and a drip of cipro . Her belly still destinded from fluid .. I just do not know what to do . Today they MAY bring in a specialist if her blood work comes back the same . Well, just keep the prayers coming , God knows she needs them . Thank you to all that posted .. that meant the world to me .. Thanks, Tink

Oh Nat, how awful for her. Please stand your ground, do your research, and fight for your daughter. You must be so frustrated. My thoughts and prayers remain with you and your girl. Wendy

Morning Beautiful, I am sorry to hear that she's not getting any better. I will keep praying and hopefully the specialist WILL come in today and be able to help her. We are our own best advocate so fight Tink and have Amy fight too. She's down but not out and if she's ANYTHING like her Momma she'll give 'em hell too. So sorry it is not going well for her. I have had my fill of waiting on drs over the last week. What it this world coming too? Hard to pay all the bills and now hard to see a dr. Shannon

Ohh, Tink....with all the prayers out there coming to Amy, things will be just fine. She is being treated so unfairly and it makes my blood boil. A specialist should have been called days ago....what is wrong with these hospitals. I wish I knew how to help but I don't. All I can do is to continue to pray for Amy and you....believe me I am praying. I am going to put her on the church prayer list also. Please give her my love and I hope she feels better today. Nat- OMG!!! I would be furious also. I mean....come on! Insurance should have NOTHING to do with whether she gets proper care or not. I'm sorry to hear that she is doing so badly. Keep us posted, and she will be in my prayers. Jill 263/193/145

Ya know .. this is why I fight so GDAM hard for our insurance rights .. I called them and now they wont tell me anything .. looks like I pissed them off . Well .. I will keep calling until I get some answers .. THANKS YOU ALL ARE THE BEST Tink

Tink do not give up go up there everyday and bug them they will do something soon. I will keep you guys in my prayers and throughts. they need to do something for her kidneys before they caused anymore trouble.
