Just wanted to post and to say thank you to all of you who were so kind to me prior to me having surgery. Everything went great. EVERYTHING. They all were so pleased at how well I had done. I was walking that same night, I insisted and it just went smooth. Can't say I wasn't in pain, I was but it wasn't that bad. Now, I'm just nervous about all the food and water I'm going to have to take in.

Congrats Lori, Sounds like you got through surgery with flying colors. I'm sure with your positive attitude and education on what needs to be done, as evidence in your walking the same night as surgery, you will have the post op life down pat in no time. Take your time! Welcome home Lori, I got so confused with the drinking and eating and vitamins and pain pills... finally hubby made me a chart to log down each time I did something so I could keep track. I was FOREVER forgetting when I took my last pain pill!! Not usually so forgetful, but those things will do it to ya! Hugs, Tammy
