btw, mucinex works great to kill the bug (without making you drowsy)! I had it too and it was ugly! It started to clear up as soon as I started taking that stuff. I can only assume that you were the one responsible for bringing it to the beach!! Thanks buddy!

Lei, just a little info. I loved the mucinex pre op but it is a time release medicine so I am not sure how it would work post op. Courtney 9 weeks out - 45 lbs

Hey Courtney, I was afraid it wouldn't work for me for the same reason, but it did, although not for the entire 12 hours, more like 8 to 9 hours. Maybe the further out from surgery you are, the better the extended release meds work. Just a thought. Carole

I burn Grilled Cheese just about everytime I make it... and I love grilled cheese, just not burnt! I haven't had grilled cheese since WLS... wonder how pouchy would like it??
