I'm baaaaack...
Thanks to JoAnn for finding me. I have to go back now and read the past week's posts.
I feel great, certainly much better than I had anticipated when I came out of anesthesia with no analgesia feeling every cut that had been made. Even the nurses who didn't answer call bells about most any concern couldn't bring me down. The excess fluids are gone, but there is still some swelling in my abdomen. In the four days at the HH (which is a GODSPEND!!) I walked 12 blocks 3 of the 4 days there.
Have been able to drink everything I have tried and have to remind myself not to drink too much. I am getting sufficien****er and protein in each day, to boot.
More later, when I get some of the emails and postings read!!
Love you all!

The Hospitality House is terrific. What a Godsend to those who cannot pay $$$$ for procedures at MCV. Many of the rooms have been remodeled. The pantry is stocked with food for families (we took our own), free laundry faciities, free counselor!! They will always be at the head of my charity list!
Get this;--I go all the way BACK Friday a.m. early for my first follow-up visit! ugh. Cody will drive.
My sister was a life saver and things did NOT flow smoothly when she was not in the hospital. My daughter really stepped up more than I ever thought she would. Not a cross word, took responsibilities on herself without being asked. Learned NOT to fear Richmond. This has been a wonderful bonding and learning experience for these three women of our family.
