Dancing Friday Night?

Hey y'all! I sure didn't expect to get a chance to practice our two-stepping at the ball last Saturday, but we did! And a few of you asked us 'what was that???' when we got off the dance floor -- which is either a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it... Anyways, long story short, we've been going to Nick's (country/western dance club/bar) in Alexandria on Friday nights because they do a couples dancing class at 8:00pm. And we're planning to go this week again, since I seem to finally be getting over this "creepy crud" stuff I came home from Richmond with. Anyone care to join us??? By the way... there were more MEN than LADIES last time *hint hint* (and yeah, they were hotties, if I may say so without getting my hand slapped...) so if you don't have a dance partner, get your hiney out here anyways! I recommend eating somewhere on the way to Nick's, or, allowing yourself PLENTY of time (like an hour, at least) to get food before the dancing. They have good burgers and steaks, among other things there. But the kitchen is very slooooooow. Anyways, hope to see you there - let me know if you're coming and we can do the group thing! ~Kathie

Hi Kathie - you two looked so 'smooth' doing your two step!! I know I was one of the ones who asked, it was just so nice looking. Anyway, we would love to go to Nicks, but I have Salsa dancing on Friday so will have to pass for awhile. But you guys were really good!! love donna

They do line-dancing on Saturday nights. I'm just not available this weekend, but we'll HAVE to do a Saturday night gig soon! Before Feb. is over, we'll definitely do that! ~Kathie

Kathie, Count Jen and I in for Not sure if we'll make the 8 pm lessons, but we should be there no later than 10pm. Gotta get the kids down before grandma will take over, Hey, any chance you could give Jen a ride home afterwards? I have to go to work at midnight at the Pentagon.
