Oh, Mary, I feel for you as I just had my open surgery on 12/19/05....feels like you have a zipper down your stomach, huh? It gets better everyday, just make sure you walk as much as you can and sip lots of water. Make sure you get in all your protein and you will heal nicely. I still have my "G" tube in and hoping to get it out next week. Can't believe I was at the conference this weekend and danced all night last night. This is a wonderful tool and enjoy your new journey. Hugs, Betsy
