*Important* Richmond Dinner/Friday
Hello gals and guys 
It appears that things are falling into place with the Tobacco Company Restaurant (TCR) for dinner on Friday. If you are on this master list, please confirm by replying to this post, or emailing myself or Karen Showalter, that YOU and your guests (if applicable) still plan on attending.
**** We MUST hear from ALL of you, one way or another, before Thursday morning, to keep you in the head count ****
It's officially CRUNCH time - we have a list (below) of 50 people who have expressed interest in attending. Karen Showalter and I have booked 2 tables with 25 each, for 7:30 Friday night, January 20th. I tried to get just one reservation for 50, but Rachel (at TCR) said that any groups over 30 will automatically be set up on 1 bill/tab and I just did NOT want the headaches of trying to divide that nightmare at the end of the meal.
IMPORTANT FACTS that you need to be aware of:
? EACH tab will have a 17% gratuity automatically included.
? Each tab will have 11% sales tax added to it.
? We MUST as a group, be there 15 minutes before the reservations or we risk LOSING our tables.
? We are meeting in the Hotel Lobby NO LATER then 6:45.
? Tables will be set up in groups of 8 to 10, all within the same area.
? They said to allow 2 hours for dinner, for a group this large.
? They will WAIVE the $7 fee to get into the dance club, if you're part of the dinner party.
? Even though they are waiving our club fee, we will still have to get in line at the door (to the club) along with everyone else. She thought that the line would be minimal at 9:00 or 9:30 at night.
Please keep in mind that Karen and I have authorized these reservations with our CREDIT CARDS and we WILL BE CHARGED $30 a head, if our group does not show up. Although they allow for 1 or 2 fall outs, a large fall out comes with a cash penalty.
It is very very very IMPORTANT (did I say VERY, yet?) that ALL of you on this master list be there. We have until Thursday morning, to make any changes or deletions to this number.
Paul (my hubby) and I have been working on name tags for everyone and I'll be bringing them to dinner with me. If you have a message board photo already attached to your posts, we're capturing that photo and it will be INCLUDED on your name tag. I've also taken the date (month/year) of your SURGERY (if you've had WLS) and will be including that on the name tags as well. Please review your name on the master list, if it's showing your name and a friend or hubby, I need your friends name and/or your spouses name for the name tags.
Ive gone to Rand McNalley and printed directions from the HOTEL to the restaurant, using 301 South. I'll have about 15 copies I can pass out to in the lobby when we meet at 6:45, assuming anyone needs them. If you have space available in your car, speak up, others might want to car pool. My car is already booked with 5 peeps.
To ensure that everyone on this list HAS read this post, please respond with a "yes or no" as far as attendance, NO later then Thursday. I can't stress this enough - if you say you'll be there for dinner, this has to be CONFIRMED as a definite and not an "iffy" kinda thing. Or *we* (Karen and I) will be charged for lost business. We'll be contacting the restaurant again on Thursday with the final numbers.

Cleve and I will be there for sure, but coming down from DC on Friday, with all the traffic that goes south at that time, we MIGHT be a few min late.....we are working on cutting that time down now so we can leave at the earliest possible moment.....but WE WILL BE THERE even if we meet you at TC for dinner.....let me know if that is a problem!!

Meeting us at TC (instead of in the lobby) is NOT a problem at all. If you want, while you're in route - just call Natalie or myself and let us know where you are, distance wise, so we know if you'll be in the lobby or not, okay?

Hi Lei - I've sent Jill a voice mail (unable to reach her real time) and an email to you, but just so there is no confusion!! Greg and I will NOT be attending this dinner. I just don't think we'll be able to get there in enough time with the way things are going right now (Greg's work) so in the even there is someone else looking for a spot I guess it's safe to bow out at this point. So -- unfortunately, don't hold a place for us. I'm totally bummed, but that's life, right. We'll catch up with everyone on Saturday.
It sounds like it is going to be a wild night for you all! I'll be thinking of you and have lots of fun.
Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday.
