Take the first bite

We've all heard the old adage, "How do you eat an elephant?" (Pause for effect.) "One bite at a time." But then, you see those reality weight loss shows and there they are wolfing down huge pieces of the elephant each week. It makes you feel a little inferior on the other side nibbling away at your pachyderm. The key is time. If you can spend the amount of time they do focused on their elephant (4-8 hrs a day...yikes!) and can afford to be medically supervised while elephant gorging...go for it. If you can only do 30 minutes to an hour a day, small bites are for you. In time, the result is the same...no more elephant.
