Just an update on me...

It's been almost a week since I had my gall bladder removed. Saw Dr. Mo yesterday for major pain I was having, everything is OK on that front. I was told in recovery that I had a big hernia in the area of my hysterectomy scar, that would need to be fixed when I had my plastics done, but learned yesterday from Dr. Mo that it needs to repaired in the next 2 or 3 months and it's rather large. He said he could not repair it the other day because I was getting my gall bladder out. I'm so not looking forward to having another abdominal surgery in 3 months, it will be my 4th in five years and 3rd in little over a yr, but I would not change a thing about getting my RNY it was the best choice I have EVER made for myself.

Sorry to hear you are still in pain. I hope it gets taken care of quickly. Perhaps there is a tummy tuck with hernia repair in the near future for you. :)

So sorry you are looking at another surgery, Heide! I am glad to hear, though, that you are doing well after the gallbladder was taken out. Keep those spirits up! :)
