Hi and congrats on deciding to take charge of your weight!  I'd just like to advise you to take the time to research all FOUR of the WLS surgery options (band, bypass, duodenal switch, vertical sleeve gastrectomy), especially since you're self pay and don't have to be limited by insurance.  Good luck to you on your journey!
