A good evening
I was feeling so much better today that I decided to go to a Christmas party with the girls from work. One of the girls picked me up and brought me home. We had a great time. Everyone wanted to know about my surgery and several people had a lot of questions. Some want to know if if would be a good surgery for one of their family members who is obese. It was interesting. I don't mind telling people about the surgery, but I was a little embarrassed by all the attention. The food looked absolutely wonderful and I had no urge to eat any of it. I did have a deviled egg half. No problems. Very exciting, my first social experience since surgery!
It's sounds like you had a good time. You need to do things like this for yourself. Don't stop your life make it happen more. I'm like you I am not afraid to tell people I had the sleeve because there are so many people out there that could use the help. But don't even know how to start. My dad was going to have the sleeve but his insurance won't cover it so he is having the RNY after the holidays. I am sure everything will be okay for him. Know I will be learning more about it too. Good luck and many more great experiences for you... Love my sleeve Sherri
