Yes, I am much happier - crisis not over but divorce should be getting filed soon if we ever stop fighting!!

I hae a difficult time with this time of year for many reasons, my anniversary, my bday, thanksgiving, my surgiversary, youngest girlies bday, dad bday, christmas, and oldest girlies bday all hit in a 8 week period. I try to behave myself but it is hard.
I am going to really focus on my portions and not getting into the sweets. I don't cook the meals so I am at the mercy of others on that aspect.

Oh, you have so many stressers don't you? Maybe you can try some celebrations without the emphasis being on food - like doing something fun for your birthdays that involves not just eating - like the movies, or ice skating or an evening at a themed place etc It is hard when you do not have the control...
If you can stay away from sweets and carb foods which will give you cravings, you may just win - try taking each one individually and being victorious when you get through it - and if you don't - don't beat yourself up - there is always the next one....
