To The Newbies and Recent Post Ops...

Thank you for addressing this issue Cindy!  Not everyone on here is involved in all the drama but there is so much on here it is hard to ignore and doesnt make it feel like a safe place to address the concerns or questions.  Luckily for me I have made a few good friends and have them to go to with those questions and concerns.  I really hope that everyone can get past all this and get back to a supportive, encouraging atmosphere!!

You have never been anything but helpful and very supportive Cindy and I am thankful to have you as a friend!!

Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback and kind words.  In spite of the fact that craziness seems to happen, there is so much good out there...and it only gets better as we share and help each other!  :)

We have all been saying these same things for months and the board has not changed a whole lot from the sad place it has found itself.   To all: one of the facts of life is that it takes more than one person to make a relationship work, we must all put in the good to make it good.  We do have strong people on this board and the drama has gotten out of control especially as it just keeps repeating it self and getting dragged around and around.  It is discouraging, as Toobecherished mention, for the newbies who feel like the board is "clickish" and they don't belong.  We are all formerly obese people who made a decision for ourselves to change that.  That puts us all on equal  ground.  I am no better than you, you are no better than me, etc.  Yes our journeys consist of more than just losing weight, however dirty laundry, attitude, meaness, etc. are not needed.  I believe we have all experienced enough of that through our lives.

Cindy well said!!!  We need to all put all of this behind us and get on with the business of support and need to welcome people back who have been away and welcome new ones who are just browsing here trying to decide if they can get the support  they need.

This board was invaluable help to most of  us starting out - I know it was for me!  We need to get back to being a board like that for everyone. We all still need support and good friendships have been made on this board too!

So let's all make an effort to make this board all we know it can be!!!
