Really Do Need Your Help ..

Putting all emotions aside for a minute ...
I truly need help here .
While helping my daughter re-coup from her kidney stones this week , I have opened up a piece of mesh in one of my hernia spots .  I did it trying to help her up from the toilet .
Dr. Hutcher is no longer practicing ... and he is the one that has patched me up all the other times.
I am frightened to death to let someone else do this .
Is there ANYONE .. that can recommend a good surgeon to me . I called Dr. Krieger .. my plastics doc .. and he is leery of the structure of my abdomen, as it is 80 % mesh .

I am willing to travel anywhere in the state . I just need this fixed or at least evaluated for mesh repair.

Thanks to you all .

Natalie

Natalie, I love all of my experiences with Dr. Anez.  He does a lot of abdominal stuff, plastics, ect. other than just WLS and has a couple of other surgeons in his office.  You can always call & meet with him to get evaluated and see how you feel about him then.  703-956-6743, he is located in Herndon.

I hope you feel better soon and are able to function as needed.  Please be careful with yourself as you take care of Amy.  I understand a mother's devotion to her daughter but you need to put your own care on the front burner too.

My thoughts & prayers to both of you.

Thank you Courtney ,
I was not sure if he did that kind of work as well as the WLS .
I am going to give them a call to see if they will atleast consult with me .
I did call Commonwealth Surgeons .. and they have no problem faxing over to the surgeon of my choice , Dr. Hutchers notes on my past surgeries.
I totally trust your opinion Courtney .. God Bless you for taking time to help me . I am at  a loss when it comes to surgeons in this area .

Have an awesome day .. and yes .. Home for me tomorrow and all care goes to me from here on .. ( until she calls again .. LOL )

Again .. Thank You !

Hi!  I just wanted to let you know that Dr. Hutcher has not retired and is still a practicing bariatric surgeon at St. Mary's Hospital.  You can call his office at 804-285-3225.  Good Luck!
