Getting Back on Track - Monday post

Good Morning all!  So needless to say I was not ready for Monday and woke up a bit grumpy this a.m.  Just did my weigh in for Penny's post and I am down 2 lbs.  I am amazed.  I have been working on getting back on track and although I am not where I should be yet, I have been making changes and making the effort and it is paying off.  WooHoo!!!!

So my weekend was pretty good.  Friday night was a quiet night at home.  It was really enjoyable.  Saturday was up early for soccer practice, took advantage of my opportunity and I chased soccer balls (kicked off the field) all morning.  Nice exercise!  A pretty lazy afternoon, did some cleaning, run girlies around a little bit, took a bubble bath, and worked on dinner.  Sunday had my mom & stepdad over for a big Sunday breakfast, off for soem mom/daughter time and pedicures, then home for another lazy afternoon.

Not much planned for today.  Rode in with hubby this a.m. so that means we get to spend some time together in the car this afternoon.  Dinner and quality time on schedule for tonight, hopefully we can get in a nice walk!

A.M. protein & cuppas
B - yogurt & bagel
S - granola bar & banana
L - Chipotle Burrito Bowl
S - peanut butter crackers
D - ham steak, potato cakes & veggies

Have a great one!

Good am,

Yep, Court you & I among others are the same mood wise. Congrats on the 2 lbs down. I'm working on me too. Got some underlying issues to deal with so I'm not participating in the weekly weigh-in post at this point. A personal discussion/choice for me.

As for the weekend it was trying & tiring. Did manage to get some time with the buggas AWAY from things when a friend invited us over for a couple hours. I didn't want to go frankly and still I did & am glad for it. God has a way of making things happen even when we don't wanna budge.

Today's a big deal so seeking prayers & hopefully by this pm I'll have some good news to share along with relief. Otherwise, I've got several things to get done & have been up since 3am doing so. Hope ya'll have a great day.

Nutrition:

Cuppas
B - parmesan cheese omelet
S - yogurt
L - possibly steak & cheese
S - protein drink
D - undecided at this point

All best!

Hello everyone,
Well today is a *****illy for me, we lived in California such a long time it is still a cold place for me and my family. Today not much to do, however on Saturday I went to Olive Gardens with a friend had the worse dumping experience ever. I only had soup and salad made sure not to eat any pasta out of the soup, still was very sick. On Sunday went to church and then to a baby shower, I was blown away by all of the nice decorations for the shower.

Sorry you had a dumping episode.

Be careful with the salad.  Bit early to eating raw vegatbles..  May have been the vinegar.

I have never experienced a dumping.   VSG's rarely experience this.  Only experience a bit of foamies.    Acidy foods set me off.

Ok, my turn!

TOOK ALL MY AM MEDS!!

Working on my first 64-oz jug

B:  egg salad (didn't work...stuck after 2 bites!)
S:  skipped because breakfast was late
L: Special K Protein Shake (LOVE this stuff!!)
S: prolly another shake
D: steak, sauteed onions & shrooms, baked tater, homegrown corn on the cob

Today is wedding anniversary, thus the fancier-than-normal dinner.  For those keeping up, you're probably confused because I posted a couple days ago about our anniversary.  We have TWO!  The formal one on 8/29 & the legal one on 8/31.  Kinda handy having 2 to choose from cuz sometimes we can't be together for one of them, such as this year.

I just made an appt with Dr. Mo for the 17th to discuss why I'm having issues with food since my last fill.  Yesterday's events is typical lately...shared a breakfast at IHOP- lightly scrambled egg, 1 strip of bacon, 1 sausage link, about 2 tbsp hash browns.  Did ok with the meats, but on my 2nd bite of egg, I was headed to the restroom to yak up the blockage so everything else came up with it.  So much for breakfast.  Went to Olive Garden a couple hours later cuz I was starving. Had one bowl of Pasta E'fagioli soup, ate the whole bowl except for the pasta, & had one bread stick...no problem.  Dinner was tuna with mayo on the crackers from my Oscar Mayer Lunch-able (the small one).  Was gonna eat the Swiss cheese & ham too, but nope...started feeling like it was gonna get stuck so I stopped before it got that far.  Still, by 1 am I was starving!  Matt had made a medium-sized pizza...ya'll, I can't believe this but I actually ate 4 !! pieces of pizza with no issues whatsoever!!

Since my newest goal is to change things up, starting TODAY, I got myself back onto a routine. Usual routine means egg salad for breakfast. Normally not a problem, but I took my 2nd bite of the salad & nope...back up!  So I waited for a couple hours to let everything calm down & had the Special K protein drink for lunch.  Never a problem with the shakes.  Can't wait to see what happens with dinner tonight...NOT.  As soon as their lunch break is over, I'm putting in a call to my NUT.  I have to figure this out cuz it's making me crazy & I'm nuts already without this crap too.

Weekend was ok.  Was supposed to have gone to G'burg for a cav event but that got called off last minute due to weather.  I sent Mike to the farm & spent pretty much the whole weekend working on my web store, which BTW I hope to launch either today or tomorrow.  Did manage to get in some yard work...sometime this week I want to replant some peas & green beans.  And now we're here with Monday.  Not sure what my mood is, to be frank.  Stressed, I think.  Anxious to get the store up & running, anxious to get the food issue resolved, anxious about some other personal things.  Definitely sleep deprived.  Courtney, that bubble bath is starting to sound really good to me.  Hmmm...maybe bubble bath for two tonight?  That could work!!  Calgon??  TAKE ME AWAY!!!!

Hugs!
Ann

Good afternoon, All!

My Monday started off with a power outage.  UGH.  But, after some time it did come back on....it is amazing how much having that electricity means!  I would have never survived in days gone by!  :)

The weekend was good, and very busy.  This week promises a lot of things going on, too, but that is okay...keeps me out of trouble.

Exercise:  Mowing lawn and a walk

Food:

Muscle Milk Light RTD
Salad, some soup and a couple of small wedges of a cheese quesadilla
Protein shake
Greek yogurt and fresh fruit

Have a great evening!
