BURPS??

Hello All,

I need to ask this question and I hope it does not sound silly. But when you burp does your food sometimes come back up with your burp. Or sometimes when you feel you have to burp you cant burp like something is stopping you from burping?

That's not a silly question at all.  I have food come back up on me sometimes when I burb, but that usually means I have a log jam & that it needed to come up anyway.  Likewise not being able to burp.  I hope someone else with more expertise will jump in here.

With RNY'ers if you feel like you need to burp and cant it's usually a signal that you are full.
The same is true with it coming back up.

When I burp,e ven two years post op I know I am over full.

And by the way...no question is silly!
