Oh Tina, I am so sorry to hear this, my heart is breaking for you and your family.  I know nothing anyone says will make anything better, but as you said she is in a better place and not suffering.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

Oh dear. I will not say I know what you are feeling--everyone experiences loss in different ways.
I know how I felt when I lost my parents.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
PM me if you would like to.

I doesn't make it any easier, in that she is not physically here for you, but

1)  I promise you she is still very aware of your daily life, needs and feelings and you will still here her advice and counsel form her past teaching wheneer it applies.

2) Try to put your focus on your belief in life after death.  As you have already stated, she is in a better place and no longer suffers as she did in this life.  And just as a parent that was here before you and helped you in this life,...she has gone before you and will be there when it is your turn to graduate from mortal to eternal life as well.  Her and many others that still love and care about you and are cheering for your to do you best while you are here and work through the experinces we are given her that help prepare us for whatever assignments and roles await us on the other side.

And you can still communicate with her as I hear God is really good about receiving and delivering messages.  You might also help her by letting God know what a fan you are of the effort she made in raising you,...so you are kinda like cheering for each other in our different realms of existence.

Hope that perspective and understanding helps you as it helps me.

Oh, Tina...... I am truly sorry for your suffering.   It will take time and grieving, and you will get through this.    My heart goes out to you.   I have never lost a parent and it is one of my biggest fears......  I have a hard time with faith and my mom is so very religious, so I always tell her she is my higher power (she tells me that is TOO MUCH  :) and I tell her I pray through her.....)

You are not alone, she will always be in your heart......   be gentle with yourself and let your tears flow when you need to,

hugs and friendship,

Jill
