Pre-op tests

I go for my pre-op tests, anesthesiologist meeting, and physical by me doctor on 7/7/09, surgery is on 7/15/09. Any idea what the pre-op tests might consist of? I know it's different for different hospitals and doctors......just curious.

I am getting ready for preop tests also but my surgeon told me what tests they are going to do. There is alot of them and I am sure that all drs are different. For that matter I am sure each patients requirements are different!!

Each surgeon is different as is your personal medical history. I had to have psych, cardiac and a venous dopplar on my legs. Just ask...you are your own advocate!
