DS Surgeons in NOVA/DC

Hello! I am trying to find a surgeon in the Northern Va/DC area that does the Duodenal Switch surgery. The only one I have found so far is Dr. Elariny at George Washington but unfortunately he does not accept my insurance.

If you have any ideas, please let me know!'

Your best bet is to go to www.dsfacts.com and look for surgeons there. Dr Sudan at Duke in North Carolina and the ones in PA are listed there. There is one more DS surgeon in MD that is not listed on dsfacts.com . You might want to go to the DS board and title a thread "Who's the other MD DS surgeon"? Dr Schweitzer no longer does the DS in 1 surgery, I think he's been pressured to only do it in 2 parts, but there is another DS surgeon in MD, I just don't know his name.
