Hernia question

I will be calling my surgeon today as I have been experiencing some pain in my lower left abdomen.  Anyone have any hernia experience, what does it feel like?

I'm anxious to see the replies on your question.  I too have wondered this when I have a mysterious pain.  I worry too much.  Thankfully nothing is hurting right now, so I'm good.  I hope that you don't find out you have a hernia.

I have a small hernia just above me belly button.    2 months ago been having issues with severe back pain.   The pain came around the front of my gut.   Contacted Dr thinking perhaps this was my hernia. Examination determined was not my hernia, perhaps just the stressed by the constant  back pain.   I have advance degenerative arthritis.    Cannot imagine how I would have felt with an extra 120 lbs back on me.  

Understand stomach pain is common with hernias.  Dr definately wants to see me again if the gut pain starts up again. 

Could be your gall bladder???
