does anyone know of a surgeon that takes Anthem Health keepers

i was approved for the surgery but now Dr moazzez does not take my insurance. does anyone have some suggestions

Yeah I was told by Pam today. Dr Moazzez is no longer accepting Anthem Health Keepers & she mentioned to try back next month............Well there is a Doctor name Dr Alshkaki in Fall Church that accept the same insurance. The number is 703-942-8770. I hope this help!!!

Thank you so much for the information. Why did she tell you to try back next month. i called Dr alshkaki in falls church but they are tell me they stop taking the insurance too. i am so upset over this because i really want to have this surgery.

I am not sure why Pam said try back next month, But basically they are not accepting any new patients at this time.....Maybe the insurance company is hard to get approved!!!! Dr Alshkaki was accepting the insurance......wow thats weird!!! If I find out anything else or hear something I will post and let you know!! Stay Encourage & keep your faith!!!!

my surgery was already approved i even have the letter. this just makes no sense. i am not a new patient either because i met with the dr and did all of the criteria.

Wow! That don't seem right.........I would call back to the docotor I orginally started the process and if you have any problems. Post online and ask other members with the same experience there advise from this point!.............Good Luck!

Revision on 02/09/09

I have Anthem Healthkeepers and used Richmond Surgical Group for both my lap band and later my revision to RNY. I'm extremely happy with my surgeon Dr. Brengman and the treatment I've received.
