Thank you, my sisters.  As it turns out, we can make a straight shot to FL without stopping in Atlanta.  The bil will meet us near Savannah so we can caravan together.  The youngest brother in law & his wife have been there all along & are in definite need of the cavalry to arrive.  Thankfully, Dad had made pre-arrangements, all pre-paid, so things should go fairly smoothly.  Mike is still in his mission mode so has not allowed the grieving to start yet.  It will come.

I've been jumpin' through my butt all day, worried I would need the phone surgically removed from my ear!  Managed to get a haircut & nails done plus a little clothes shopping...no time to search for summer clothes.  Also bought a second little black dress...sleeveless...to wear during the hot day of his funeral.  Will wear my other one with sleeves for the evening viewing.

If need be, we could be down there until the Friday following this one coming, but could also be back as early as this weekend.  We just don't know yet.

I'm hoping that despite the sad & worrisome reason, that the brothers' reunion will be a good one filled with good memories, cold beers, & a family drawn closer together.
