I live in Lynchburg, but I used to live the Tidewater area.   I just wanted to wish you well on your surgery.   Even if you don't find someone in Hampton Roads, keep coming back to the site.   We might be far away, but we will allways support you via the message board.

Yep..we have quite a few folks from HR. We often have get togethers.
Wishing you all the best on your surgery Monday. Are you all set with some proteins and foods directed by by surgical team?
Just remember to drink as much water as you can.

Hi there "Mhs"   :)  Congrats on your surgery.   Its one of the best things I have done, truly a life changing event.  I had mine done in Massachusetts 4 years ago this May.  I moved here last May and live in Norfolk & work in VB.     Feel free to PM me with any question.  There is NO QUESTION you should feel afraid to ask!!     I'm not an expert, but at 4 years out have had a lot of different experiences and have been on the boards for 5 years (changed my name last year, but have been a member since 04).

The people on this VA website are the best!
