Ahh Thursday!

Well my Wednesday was great.  Work went well, my office showed their love for me with nice Kohls gift card for Admin Professional Day, I see some shopping in my weekend schedule.  Pulled one over on my hubby.  When he got his bday present, a new 32" lcdhd tv, he was stoked.  Dinner was great and we had a chance to relax and watch the caps game afterwards.  The girlies are leaving this afternoon to go out of town with their mom for the weekend so we get a chance for some much needed alone time and a break from the daily aspects of being parents.  I am hoping for an easy day at work today as I am a bit tired but we shall see what happens.  Have a great one!!

Yesterday was a long one for me.   My 15 year old son got his wisdom teeth pulled.  And, then had a bad reaction to the percocet.  So, dealing with that and back and forth to the pharmacy for new meds took it out of me.   Today is looking great.  breakfast with the gal pals and bowling with the girls!  Woo Hoo - bring it on! 

Yesterday was a good one for me with the exceptin that I was cold. I went for lunch with my hubby and went for a walk and clean my son's house while he was working. Today I will be heading to western Pa. about a 4 hour drive from my son's house here in York, Pa.

I am determined to get out of this sadness funk...Rick would be the first to say "get over it!"  So today I am doing stuff for ME!  First I'm gonna get my claws done, then I'm gonna rid myself of the "glints" in my hair.  I've already got Matt out cutting the grass & shortly I will be joining him to do some weeding & various other yard stuff...BEFORE I have my nails done, of course.  While I'm out, I'm gonna plant some flowers.  I think I will make an honor flowerbed for my guys.  Not a memorial one, but an honor one for ALL of them.

I need to prep the trailer for the weekend again.  Stuff like put the dishes back in the cabinet, make sure Mike's uniform is in order, try on my day dress.  I haven't dressed in period garb since last October, & that was in my camp skirt & work shirt.  I haven't worn my day dress in YEARS!  Haven't decided if I'm gonna do the corset thing or not yet.  But it would be nice if I dressed up for Sunday's dedication.  Speaking of which, if any of you are interested, we will be "appearing" at Hartwood Church in Stafford on Sunday...all day...hint, hint, Cindy, Jackie, Jill, & whomever lives near there.  Jill, you said you're always looking for interesting places to ride to.
