my broken heart is....
allllll better. My heart surgeon was able to just repair it & then did a cryo ablation with the MAZE procedure to stop the atrial fibs. It will take a few weeks, maybe, to make sure that they are completely stopped but we have discussed the next options.
I was home by about 1245 today and changed clothes and headed up to the ball field. Cameron had his first game of the season, as I missed opening day. It was a bit of a walk but did help me meet my physical therapy requirement for my walk today. We went to get my 12 prescriptions that I came home with and we shopped for a few groceries. I did enjoy the luxury of the electric wheel cart, lol.
While it hasn't been easy and has hurt, on occassion, the worst hurt I've ever felt, (like going from 830 pm until 6 am the next morning because I slept), it really hasn't been nearly as difficult as I thought and I can and am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Physical therapy is a must as well as cardiac rehab. I will call Monday to schedule all that. My medicines have been changed and I will have to take time to get them adjusted and get my routine to taking them in order.
Alot of ya'll messaged me, commented me on facebook or through posts on here and being so drugged for first few days, I am finding it difficult to catch up. I will try catch up. But to those that have sent well wishes, good thoughts, and prayed, I appreciate them. They were wanted, needed and definitely heard. I thank you and my friends and family thank you.
