What are you thankful for today-Wednesday?

I'm thankful for the beauty & magnificense of my horses.  No matter what kind of day I'm having, all I have to do is go sit on my front porch & jus****ch them.  Sometimes they're happily munching on grass.  Sometimes they're both making pony angels in the mud.  The other day Cutter was doing his absolute best to talk old man Sage into playing...taking hold of Sage's halter, nipping at his ankles...finally Sage gave in & the race was on.  Cutter began bucking as he ran, kicking his back heels up in the air, all the while farting as he went.  It was all very comical.  Then there's the times when they both stand beside the fence looking out at who knows what, peacefully.  But the best is when they see me come out, they go to the fence & knicker for me to come & pet them.  They love unconditionally & expect the same.

Hugs!
Ann

Boy, that made me smile, Ann!

Today I am thankful for surprises -- went in to get my hair done (the stylist I have been seeing for almost 10 years opened her own salon), and they have started offering day spa services (I knew this was happening, just didn't know it was this soon).  So, out of the blue, I ended up having a wonderful manicure  while waiting for the color to take...it was AWESOME (get this -- nail polish is called "Sand in Your Suit!").  Now I am dreaming of a hot stone massage...I think one is in my future!

What am I thnakful for? I am thankful to God for my BIL and his mother's surviving the horrific accident today with no serious injuries.  They were T-Boned by someone who ran a red light.  The Trooper flipped a couple of time and hit a pole. THey had to use the jaws of life to open the car.  THe State Tropper at the scene said it was a miracle they survived.  He was expecting to come to the scene and find bodies.  They walked away basically with bruised ribs and a couple of lacerations.  However, there was one loss of life.  My BIL dog was ejected from the car and killed.  My BIL loves dogs and is a dog trainer.  So this is avery hard for them.
