Today to work I am wearing for the first time since 1991 my blue silk pant suit!! I used to wear it when I worked in DC and it was snug then. Tried it on today (kept it cause I always loved it) and not only did it fit, its a little big (size 14). In fact, its so old, the elastic in the pants has died so I'm holding them up with a safety pin! Plan to take them in and then wear it out!! Can't believe it.

I love my RNY!!!!!!

What a great find in the closet's past! Perhaps you could find a good seamstress to replace the elastic and have it be like new without having to use the safety pins?!?! :)

Hope you can make them last a while with tailoring. When they do get to big for you, you could think about converting them into something else (like maybe a scarf or pillow) that you could keep forever.

I have a lovely top my husband bought me two years ago (it was 2 sizes too small) that I can't wait to get into. I have hung onto it all this time because I absolutely loved it. Now I know I will one day get to wear it.

Thanks everyone, shopping for free in the back of the closet is fun!! Thankfully I can sew so I should be able to make the alterations myself, just didn't have time this morning and when it fit I was determined to wear it!!!.
