What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???
It's Tuesday and I have an allergy headache....UGH! I love the Spring, but hate the pollen, but love the flowers.....guess I'll suffer.

Walk 10 Minutes a Day and Increase Your Fitness Level Old thinking was to work out in a sweat-filled gym for hours a day. No pain, no gain. New studies show that even short bouts of activity can increase your fitness level, especially if you're new at working out.
So...make sure that you move. Even if it's for short period of time - it all counts! and with summer right around the corner, we REALLY need it to count!!!
So...what are YOU doing to move today???
Me? let me see....the calendar says a 3.5 mile run/walk today. HA! Who am I kidding....it will end up being a 3.5 mile run today. Hip feels good - back needs to be stretched, but I've got all day for that. After my run, I plan to do some ab work (dvd).

BUT....I'll be doing LOTS of riding......so, I STILL win - haha

I like what you said about moving several times a day even if only for a few minutes each time. Makes complete sense.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!! I know you may not WANT to do it, but you must. It's for your general health and well being. The body was made to move and you need to move it.
Sunday, I had to get in a run and totally did not want to do it. i did 5 minutes, stepped off of the treadmill and told hubby it was going to be a tough run.
i got back on, pumped up the music, turned on a good movie and next thing I knew, my easy 2 mile run was 3 miles. THEN, I did my ab work.
So...it's mind over matter.........
